An area of showers and storms continued to move east across central 
and eastern Kansas during the night. Overnight low temperatures 
ranged from the upper 40s to near 50 across western Kansas, to the 
middle to upper 50s across eastern Kansas. Winds were out of the 
southeast at 5 to 15 mph.

Today looks to be active across the Central Plains, with chances of 
showers and storms for Nebraska and northern Kansas. Some of the 
storms may be strong to severe, especially across central and 
western Nebraska. Afternoon high temperatures are forecast to reach 
the upper 60s across northern Nebraska, to the lower to middle 80s 
across Oklahoma. Winds will generally be out of the south to 
southeast at 5 to 15 mph, with a few areas gusting to 20 to 25 mph.

Tonight showers and storms will continue across much of Nebraska and 
far northern Kansas. Overnight low temperatures are forecast to drop 
down to the lower 40s across western Nebraska, to the middle 60s 
across eastern Oklahoma. Winds should generally be out of the 
southeast at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts 20 to 25 mph.
